Technological advances in the
equine veterinary industry:
Vets now have at their disposal numerous
high tech monitoring, diagnostic and
treatment options that have provided obvious
benefits to the UK population of horses
and ponies.
For example, at our practice, the CCTV
cameras that monitor our patients 24/7 can
be accessed by the vets on their laptops at
home, or on their smart phones whilst they
are out and about (figure 1).
